ABC Movie Challenge

There’s this challenge going around that I found on Man Vs. Adulthood, a really fun blog and you should go check it out, where you list your favorite movies in order of the alphabet.

It sounded really fun, so I wanted to give it a try. I cheated a bit with V, X, and Z because I don’t think I like or have seen movies that start with V, X, or Z. But the titles I chose have the letters in the title, so that counts! Here is my ABC’s of movies:

A. The A-Team (2010)
B. Beauty and the Beast (1991)
C. Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
D. Despicable Me
E. Emma
F. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them
G. The God’s Must Be Crazy
H. Harry Potter (All eight of them)
I. Ice Age
J.  Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
K. Kingsman
L. Leap Year
M. Mamma Mia
N. Notting Hill
O. O Brother, Where Art Thou
P. The Princess Bride
Q. Quantum of Solace
R. Remember Me
S. Sixteen Candles
T. The Truman Show
U. Up
V. National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation
W. Whiplash
X. Because of Winn Dixie
Y. You’re Next
Z. Tarzan

This was a lot harder than I thought it would be, and not an accurate list of my top 26 movies. Some of these movies I saw one time and remember laughing, so I included them.

V was the hardest letter, because I hadn’t seen any of the movies that Wikipedia lists as starting with V, and I couldn’t find any lists of movies that include the letter V in the title, so I had to reach out to my fabulous ma, and she helped me come up with National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation (which I’ve seen once).

It was a fun challenge to come up with this list, and I know myself a little bit better. I found myself switching the title out for certain letters a few times, but I *think* I’m happy with where I’ve settled.
