Oyster Crackers

This weekend, I went to a board game night with some friends, and I figured I could make a snack to share with the group. I immediately sent a Snapchat to my mom hoping she’ll give me direction on a quick, cheap, and easy snack that will satisfy the masses (well, 10-15 people).

My mom never lets me down.

Her simple solution? Oyster crackers.

Who doesn’t love oyster crackers? They are so good, so easy, and so cheap!

She even provided the recipe. I’ll share that with you now, as long as you give all the credit to my amazing mother when you use the recipe.

Hidden Valley Oyster Crackers

  • 16 oz oyster crackers
  • 1 pkg. Ranch dressing mix
  • 1/4 t. lemon pepper
  • 1 t. dill weed
  • 1/4 t. garlic powder
  • 3/4-1 c. oil (Orville Redenbacher popcorn oil is the best, but vegetable oil will be just fine and is a tad bit cheaper)

  1. Combine dressing mix and oil
  2. Add dill weed, garlic powder, and lemon pepper
  3. Pour over crackers and stir to coat
  4. Bake at 250 degrees for 15-20 minutes, or until the crackers are dry.
  5. Enjoy!
